Ninebot I have been having a stupid amount of issues with my ES3

So I bought a used ES3 from a co-worker about a month ago, and was really enjoying it, up until about 2 weeks ago.

It started by getting random error 42s. After being powered off for about 10 seconds, the scooter would go back to normal.
Then, the external battery stopped registering.
Now, the weird part is that the scooter would register that a charger was plugged in through the battery, but it would flash errors 42 and 48 the entire time while charging, and the battery wouldn't show up at all while riding. After attempting to look online (and never finding anything useful) I just gave up and removed the battery so that the scooter could still be useable.
I have tried re-seating the battery, cleaning the pins on the scooter and the battery with isopropl alcohol, and using compressed air to remove any dust. I have no clue what to do but I don't want to get rid of this scooter or buy a new battery.
