Talking Villa Park Land Yacht Parade, Villa Park California

We are trying to put together an "armada" of segway riders to take part in this event and have been given the green light by the city of Villa Park.. If you have any interest and are in the Southern California area, this takes place December 9th at 5:00 pm. Please post here or send me an email at aprilcregg@gmail.com for more information. We are hoping to break the world record by having the longest Segway parade. It currently stands at 119!!

I am curious, where is that longest segway parade count of 119 from? Was it from a segway fest? A Woz Cup event? A parade in southern california? Some other event? I was not even aware that such stats are available. Do you have more? I am curious.

Default segway record

The largest parade of Segways featured 119 participants and was achieved by Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co. KG (Germany), in Potsdam, Germany, on 28 July 2011.

There were originally 120 participants but one dropped out, the route taken covered 3,577 m (11,735 ft 6.49 in) through the Lustgarten in Potsdam, Germany.

I am unaware of this statistic. Where was it compiled? I do recall a glide we took in 2006 at a segway festival in Long Beach, that took us into LA and Hollywood, but do not recall the number of segways.

I am not questioning your stats, just wondering where and by whom they were compiled. 119 is a lot of segways. Was this part of MAMS?
