Segway Inc. Lowers Price for 2017
Great News from Segway Inc. for 2017
All USA Segway Dealers were offered to renew their 2017 Segway Dealership with lower MSRP pricing. Great news for future Segway folks looking to buy. Segway i2 SE New Price $5999 (2016 Price was $6694) Segway x2 SE New Price $6499 (2016 Price was $7209) All Segway Dealers in USA are purchasing inventory at the same price from Segway Inc. Great news for the Dealership in your area. By offering all Dealerships the same pricing should help all Segway Dealerships grow their business and help the Segway brand grow too. In my 14 Years as a Segway Dealer...this is the best news I have every received. Rick Bennett Segway Of Corvallis Corvallis, Oregon 541-740-3021 |

That's great news, Rick.
Any chance that the accessories--and specifically the batteries--got a price cut? BTW, I would love to upgrade to an i2 SE...but I'm afraid of losing the convenient lock that was an option on the original i2 (and I also think the original i2 has a more sexy looking control shaft). Here's hoping for an i3 in our future as well... |

This is good news and I really appreciate you posting it.
But I also can't help but notice that an i2 still costs more than a car, and a single battery still costs more than a MiniPro. Please don't misunderstand - this is not Segway bashing. I've just been seriously "feeling the pain" lately of how hard it is to stay in the Segway club. |

Rather than compare a new Segway to a cheap used car, better to compare it other new recreation vehicles, like a jet-ski, snowmobile, vespa scooter, etc.
