Thanks for the link, Greg!

If anything, the SE3 will help Inc recover.

I can't find any detailed specifications for this new model (also, the website isn't rendering properly on my browser...maybe it's just me). How does it compete with the T3 Motion patroller? They look like exactly the same concept, so much that I wonder if some patent or copyrights might be at issue?

Sad to see one of the most revolutionary companies start producing clones of established products. This was not the vision....

Clone, maybe...

It's an improved design over T3 and IMO is a great thing to get into.

We will all miss the days when LLC only sold "revolutionary" devices, but they must either sell PT's for less money... OR expand their market.

Either way, Brian Bucella going back to Inc suggests T3-Motion and Segway Inc are working at least somewhat together.

Of course, we won't know until something is said from one of the companies.

Let's just be happy they aren't 6 feet under like Jimi.

Are there published details showing that? Where is the comparison? I haven't been able to find anything....

How can they call their service network 'world class' when there's only one service location in the US? I just had to send my power base in for repair (frequent aggressive E047 shutdowns). I couldn't find an appropriate cardboard box, so had to build one out of plywood. It cost $135 to ship it all the way across the country. My dealer estimated three weeks there, plus two weeks in transit. Imagine a police department having to send an SE3 that far and wait that long. (And why SE3? That's almost as bad as the Chinese Chegway. It screams knockoff.)

You're right about the name, but simple is better...
Likely Inc will be able to expand the service centre locations.

There is/was a PDF showing the comparison, like being able to go through doors, and having better mileage, I'll see if I can find it.

USD$12,000 for a 3 wheeler!!! the technology involved is shocking minimal, there's tons of company making electric 3 wheeler in Asia.

Well, considering SE3 is the Rolls Royce of 3 wheeler, and hope US custom will be able to charge Chinese/Taiwanese/Indian/Malaysia 3 wheeler 400% import duty to protect Segway's interest

Of course US government can also impose a legislation that public service industry can only purchase locally designed product..........
