infokey start up but turns off again
When I start my X2, the infokey start up for a second but then it turns off again. I've tried to disconnect both batteries and then works a few times but the problem comes back.
Battery in segway is ok, and the battery in infokey is new. I hope there is someone who can help. |

Seems like a problem connecting the InfoKey with the PT.
Make sure the battery is not loose in the InfoKey and shake it around to see f there are any loose electronics. A question for you, have you tested a second InfoKey? Also, have you dropped the InfoKey recently? Cheers. |

There is a fairly common problem with the radio board, that comes in two versions. One was a cold sensitive component that would fail when cold, the other was a displaced antenna on that board.
There are two quick things to try. One is to simply plug in the unit, turn it on, the pull the plug. See if that works, if it does, the radio board most likely needs to be replaced. The other is to have the infokey right near the base center when you turn it on. Same issue, if this does it, replace the radio board, or reset the antenna. All that I said the typical symptom is that the display of the info key comes on, but the right off again. The segway never actually comes on...

Strange problem
My x2 powers on but if I don't tap the footpads it shuts off in 5 seconds.
Unit works in turtle mode however in regular mode it is very slow. No error codes and no unhappy face. Any ideas? |
