Default Kudos the the NorCal Renaissance Faire

Went w/ my son last month and had a great time, no bad experiences.
Good, close handicapped parking. As we entered the 'bag check' area the gentleman saw me on my Segway and simply asked, 'Is that for mobility?' I said, 'yes', he waved me through. Thoroughly enjoyed moving around a distance (a mile plus) that would have quickly exhausted me. Heard good, positive comments from the patrons and a lot of 'look, that's a Segway... cool!'

As I was resting in the afternoon a gentleman walked up and politely asked me how I was. He introduced himself as an official and had said he had been talking with his security detail and they had been observing me. I was the first Segway they had seen in the many years they had been running the event. He said his people had commented that I was being very polite and courteous and safe. I told him I was looking out for others safety and did not want to pose a problem. I told him that I was enjoying my visit very much. He said, 'have a good day', and off her went.

It was a GOOD day!
