New miniPRO grinding feeling
I just received my new miniPRO from amazon and am feeling a slight grinding in the platform.
It does it mainly when I am traveling at low speeds, once I get above about 2 to 3 mph the grinding stops completely. It just feels like the gears turning between the motor and the wheels. Is this normal or should I be contacting support about this issue? Thank you for any help you can provide. |

Hi. I can tell you that there is some very slight pulsing of the motors. I can't say that I can describe ever sensing a grinding on any of my 3 MiniPros.
If it is in fact grinding, send it right back and I would suggest not to attempt to fix your self as you may void warranty. |

Most likely just low-speed motor noise. It's common for electric motors. The nature of the electronic circuits that control the speed have a tendency to generate that noise from the motor. My electric bicycle does the same thing. I wouldn't worry about it, but I hope another MiniPro owner will chime in to let us know if they hear the same noise.

I have a minipro and agree with ions82 about the low speed motor noise. Mine has a very low electric type buzz when moving but no grinding noise.

I am no expert
If you go into the App there is an "Automatic suspension sensitivity" setting that suggests it would affect vibrations while riding. Not sure if your grinding is in fact vibration. I did experience what I thought was grinding but adjusted that setting and it went away.
