Hello, from West Tennessee, USA! Just joined after purchasing two used X2's from Jim in Tupelo, MS. We were introduced to Segway in 2005 in Estes Park, CO. The "off road" model was new then and all models had some challenging steering! They were really fun and created great interest. We were full-timing RV workers for RV parks and this was our second season at this "campground" in Colorado. Segue forward ten years and our mobility is diminishing and our desire to be tourists is not! The Segway X2 looked like the best way to "hike in" to some sights we have not seen. We have been scootering on some major trips with our 150 cc and now 300 cc Kymco highway capable scooters and intend more such trips. I am looking forward to reading what you all have to say about these strange machines and hopefully to become somewhat technically competent as well!
