So what's the deal with these new rims?
For the second time in as many weeks I've seen a post on e-bay with new X2 "Sport Rims"
These appear to not need the standard adapters we are used to seeing. Does anyone have any info on these? Are they available as separate items? Are these factory parts? Inquiring minds want to know

They seem to be proprietary and only work on gen 2's
Personally they look cheaper and less rugged, but, I'd have to use them to see if that's really true. Segway has changed the rims back at the and of last year and I remember seeing some before they were "out" but I can't quite remember if these look the same as the ones I saw.
