Gen 1 Keys Re-Coding
I recently purchased an i167 base unit on eBay to replace the motherboards on my e167. The base unit only came with the yellow and black keys. How do I get my e167 red key re-coded to match the motherboards on the i167?
I prefer not going to the NH factory for this - not impressed with the service and costs I have experienced in the past. Hans Svendsen Kelowna, bC Canada

Cutting new keys.
If you have the technical ability to write to an iButton device it is straightforward.
If you don't, then you will need somebody else to do it for you. They can read your keycode from any working key. They can calculate the new data for what ever mix of speed and steering sensitivity you need. They can write that data in to either a new key or one of your existing keys. I can do all that but I am in Australia. Send me a message here or via www.dgbint.com and I will try to assist you. Michael |
