Do a hard use test, keep using it on kerbs, drops, just generally treat it badly, until you feel the test is satisfactory or the unit is broken.

Quick Notes:
The iPhone app is pretty cool. Provides basic info. But the app also allows you to control the E with your phone. You have to take the handlebar off... and I'm not sure what the intended application is, but it's damn fun... and that's enough for me
