Retiring a Segway?
I found a good price online and purchased a Powerboard, so I'm thinking it's probably a good time to retire my old i167. (Don't worry, I'm keeping my i2.)
I tried to put the i167 back together and was unable to get it running. There seems to be some problems with the batteries, as well as a lot of general wear and tear. I'm feeling kind of stumped regarding what to do with it. I don't think it's in good enough shape to sell it, and shipping it to someone would be very expensive. I would really hate to just junk it, and honestly I'm not even sure how I would do that either. Do you have any suggestions how to "retire" my i167? Thank you. |

I need some parts for my i167.. do you know what type of connector is in your handle bars? In what condition are your tires? Could you post some images of your i167? Thanks.

Thanks for your messages. I took some pictures but I'm not sure if they came out very well.

Segs4Vets would probably love it especially if you're willing to donate. They are an amazing organization. They will ship you a Segway box and pay for return shipping. Contact Jerry Kerr at http://www.segs4vets.org/.
