Have you checked the top speed in the settings?

I think terryp already explained it pretty clearly. The display only goes up to 9999, so it rolls over to zero and starts winking. You have 10,829 miles.

(Actually, it's possible you have 20,829, 30,829, or 1,000,829 miles...)

That's pretty unlikely...

True, but I only said it was possible, not probable. That was just a half-joking footnote.

Wouldn't it timeout at 9999?

I thought you were referring to my comment about 1,000,829 miles. That part was a joke, but she really does have 10,829 miles.

Now I'm confused - it sounds like maybe you really are still confused about the winking even after it has been explained twice. Did you read the explanations?

I'm as confused as you are...

I actually did not know that she had over 10,000 miles, that explains almost everything, EXCEPT, the speed problem.

She already said in post 9 that the speed issue has been resolved.

Posts 6 and 12 already explained that winking explicitly means she has over 10,000 miles.

These two things have nothing to do with each other.

I read it as, it increased the speed, but still not 100%.
Without further elaboration from her, the world may never know...

She responded directly to you about the speed, in her post # 9. She has no speed problem any more.

I will not speak for the whole world, but I do not think there is still a speed issue.
