2 Batteries mixed capacity. Segway X2
Only one of my batteries has failed. Can I replace it with a new high capacity battery or do I need both batteries to be a similar capacity?
Could put high capacity on rear as it has the radio board. Will the Segway work fine but only run until the lower capacity battery runs low? How does the Segway decide which battery to draw from or is it just both at once to get the required voltage? Thanks!! |

Mixed batteries
Yeah, can you put a new double capacity battery on as well as the older standard capacity battery?

Send me a msg via www.dgbint.com
I may be able to assist. Segway used to recommend matched batteries. Certainly cannot mix a NiMH and a Li-ion. Probably can mix Li-ion with different capacities. Season greetings Michael Melbourne |
