It's my understanding that the Ally uses only the newer version of the Segway.
Close to haveing more info. The updated chair looks nice.

I was disappointed in not getting information back from Segs4Vets regarding the availability of the new AllyChair. It's a quality redesign on what was one of the most functional sit & glide products on the market.

What kind of information are you searching for and who did you contact?

Segs4Vets doesn't manufacture the AllyChair....It's a recreational product manufactured by the Ally Chair Company which is at present focused on product improvement and not being marketed.

My understanding is that Allychair was bought out, redesigned, and is being manufactured in limited quantities and availabliity to Segs4Vets exclusively. I had a pleasant phone discussion with Jerry Kerr who referred me to Kelley Gaines with whom I also had a pleasant phone conversation, but she never got back with the info we discussed.

thjere is other chairs i ended up buying a segsaddle but it hass a small seat that wasnt good on my skinny bony butt. also consider how you can get close to desks or tsbles with the leansteer frame you might need one that foldsup or reinstalls easily. the joystick controls exactly like hovering a helicopter

I had the pleasure of seeing the Ally in San Antonio. It fits under tables desks etc. it could be used as a primary chair.
