Ok, now even this one has me stumped.
So, this just started about a week ago, but I was out for a glide to the bakery and noticed that every 1/6th of a mile, the Segway would come to an almost full halt and display the warning icon on the InfoKey, then regain top speed again.
Now it's happening once every mile or so. This happened as I was very close to traffic and I can't imaging what I would be if it happened as a runaway car came speeding towards me and I couldn't get out of the way. Weather has been perfect, wheels are tight, pads are free of debris, LSF is tight, batts are still going 25+ miles after one year, only 1200 miles, it's really stumping me... Short of fully disassembling and regreasing the gearboxes, any suggestions? |

Status of Infokey battery? (or did you change where/how you carry it a week ago?)
Are you traveling the same route every time? (e.g., perhaps some RF interference or .....) Grasping at straws, of course. Think hard about what changed a week ago. |

Absolutely nothing, InfoKey is always on the dock, route I have taken over 300 times, it happens at different places, in the day and at night, the weather hasn't changed more than 2-3 degrees variance. I really don't understand it, it just happened again tonight as I was in my driveway twice. Battery was just replaced a month ago on the InfoKey. It happens mid trip too, not only right after startup. I guess I'll have to strip it down and reassemble, that always works on my knives... |

If you get a warning face on the InfoKey, it means the Seg diagnostics have has detected some issue. Given that, one presumes that error codes might have been set.
Get a Seg dealer to read the codes, which might give you a starting place for determining the underlying problem. |

I had this over a year ago and when I looked down the 2 feet were showing....so I must of been to comfortable and lazy on it?...Kinda shifting weight from left to right...
Now It did happen a few weeks ago, but due to were I was at I could not look down....I stood up straighter, as it came to a stop, just stepped off one foot at a time and back on....I will try to pay closer attention if it happens again.. |

Smells like a BSA fault.

Dale, as far as I can see, it's just the warning triangle. |
