Picked up my new SE on saturday, I now have .8 miles on it. It has a leanseat installed. I really like the fact that the new console on the SE only goes about 1/2 way toward the back, it makes it easier for me to get on and off, my feet don't get hung up as much. It seems to me initially that the leansteer angle is raked a bit farther forward. I get the feeling that I am leaning more forward and hunched over than I was on my I2 with a leanseat. It could just be me, but that's my initial impression. Is there any difference in the angle of the leansteer ? Its nice that the shaft disconnects rather than having to disconnect at the rotation joint. I am going to try and tweak the air pressure in the cushions on the leanseat, maybe they are a bit over-inflated and pushing me forward.

I let some air out of the leanstear cushions and it was the cause of my forward inclination. It feels just like my older I2. Its nice having a new ride, all clean and peppy. No noticable "new car smell" though

What are "leansteer cushions?"

Karl is right, sorry about that. The cushions that come with the Lean Seat are made for padding in a wheelchair. They are foam with an air bladder underneath that gets inflated. When you pump them full, the cushions expand upward, but because the foam is textured, they also slant more forward. I suspect it would have no impact in a wheelchair, as you have a large surface area to sit on. However, since the contact area of a Lean Seat is probably 8x6 inches or smaller, it definitely pushed me forward at a slant, causing me to lean much too far forward for comfortable gliding. Decreasing the pressure in the cushions to a level that allowed for some comfort, yet enough "give" so that it wouldn't force me forward solved the problem. Picture sitting on a small stool that is 1 inch lower in front than in the back, it wasn't optimal.
