Tube advice for Gen 1 wheel
Hi - can any of you tire-changing experts advice me on the correct tube.
I'm going to put Michelin Starcross MS 2 front 60/100-14 TT 30M (might end up being the MS3 - can't find MS2 in the UK) on a Gen 1 wheel. What tube do i need - I've never but motorbike tubes - is it just a 60/100 - 14 tube. Also it looks like I need a tube with a bent valve stem as I want to put them on the older gen 1 wheels (i167? - with the vale stem at right angles to the wheel) - is this right. I have searched through the forum's tire threads - many thanks to everyone who contributec to the Alternate tire thread - that set me off on this whole plan. But I haven't been able to find specific enough advice to make me confident in what tube size/type to buy. Cheers |

The 90 degree bend in the valve stem is a good idea, but I have put straight valve stem tubes in them. It is less convenient, but it is doable if you cannot find the valve stem you want.
Good luck.

Thanks Karl
What tube size have you used when you've changed your tires? Ric |
