FIVE YEARS i2 Gliding
Friday 4th was my fifth anniversary as a Segway i2 owner!!!
Saturday December 4, 2010 picked up a brand new machine at (now closed) Seattle of Segway and glided in turtle mode to the local library, 5 miles. Friday December 4, 2015 TerryP and I glided to a local brew pub to celebrate the anniversary. Must say, their Blond Ale was wonderful. Returning home the SEG has 9,112 Miles ! It has been five fun years that include at least weekly visits to SegwayChat and many SEG adventures. 2,300 miles work commuting (first 1.5 years of ownership)With all the above the i2 machine just keeps on running and bringing more smiles. Best adventures: First time gliding on to a Washington State Ferry,Stopped for lunch . . . .the look on the deckhands faces was priceless.Having a locomotive Engineer wave at me!After all those years as a kid waving at them. |

yes very cool congrats i just turned 1008 miles on an x2 including around a cruise ship in 16 foot swells so steep the pool water sloshed out including riding in the glass elevators i kept riding on the soaked decks= not bad for an old guy with a stroke that almost killed mei couldnt go 50 feet when i got it but now im in far better condition better balance now when i had none i bought a sparex2 just in case i use a segvator to load and transport i would not recomend business with the segvator company this x2 was a very good decision for me. i usually have to lean it to get on and off
