When mine needed replacing, my dealer told me I'd have to buy a new bar to get new grips, as they weren't sold separately. My local bike shop had lots of cheap alternatives, but I chose the Ergon GP1s too.

Thank you everybody.
Segway use to sell just the grips but no more. So I did get some from a local bicycle shop |

The 'installation' isn't that difficult. Buy the $30 OEM Segway pair of grips on eBay and do it yourself

There are brand new, OEM Segway grips now on eBay for only $15 per set, plus $6 shipping. I have no affiliation with the seller - Just passing along a good deal for anyone looking

After 10,000 miles . . .
After 10,000 miles my grips were shredded. Contacted my local Segway Dealer, who has been a great resource and extremely helpful over the last 10 years, and he suggested buying a set of bike grips and go from there.
I have to say, the cost of bike grips for Segway branded grips was quite substantial, ludicrous really, and decided to follow his advice. Cleaned the bar, applied soap and water and have been quite happy over the last 500 miles. Certain things MUST be OEM, others; not so much. |
