Default Help with Handlebar Problem

Hello,

Upon separating the handlebar assembly on an I2. I dropped the washer/spacer part of the nut assembly down into the steering column. I cannot get it out. I've lifted the segway up, turned it upside down but the washer seems to be jammed in the steering tube.

Has anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions about how to get it out?

Sorry, but you can't link to a gmail attachment -- nobody but you can see it.

Why the quotes around "washer"?

Obviously, we can't have infinite voltage, or the universe would tear itself to shreds, and we wouldn't be discussing Segways.

It is hard to tell exactly where the spacer has fallen from your description. Have you tried removing the lower lean steer from the pivot? There should be no need to turn the entire machine upside down.
