What is a fair price for used Nickels for an i67?
Hi all,
It's been a while. My poor i67 (that is in excellent shape) needs new batteries. It's been plugged in for a long while not being used. : ( I've tried draining them and recharging a few times but that doesn't seem to help anymore. She starts up fine (with software upgrade) but only glides for about a minute before shutting off. What is a fair price for a good set of used Nickels for an i67? I don't think I can afford Lions at this time unless I found a great deal. Thanks in advance for any advice. I really want to get back to gliding asap. It's been FAR too long. Best to all. -josh aka Buckaroo Banzai

Contact your dealer about MTO Battery's offerings. You can get either "refreshed" Li-Ions or rebuilt NiMH's (w increased range). I believe your old batteries are used as a trade-in.

My local dealer has one new battery for sale priced at $400.00.
No offer to trade in my old ones. They suggested I contact other dealers to find the second one. Don't get me wrong, I really like my local dealer but $800.00 is not an option for me at this time. I have a private seller who offered to allow me to buy the batteries from him, try them for a week or two and then make payment. Seems more than fair. Just wondering what a fair price is for slightly used batteries? Anyone? Thanks.

I will be at the MTO Battery Shop on Thursday
So I will talk to them about what they have. When I last talked to him Ni MH were remade custom, and are not cheap.
Once I have that info, I will post it, as Segway of Annapolis is offering for sale batteries that they have reconditioned.
