Unhappy Pivotbase Sensor Out of Alignment

I notice that my i2 Segway tends to turn 360 deg when it is balanced in a stationary position. I was told that it is due to the pivotbase sensor out of alignment.
Is this a normal behaviour and is this something easy to fix ?

Take the LeanSteer plate off, check if it's off centre, if so, align and retry, if not, take the LeanSteer off, check for and take appropriate measures to clean debris, then reinstall and retry.

I think he means the emblem in front, with the little red logo on it. If you take that off you can check the alignment.

Also make sure that the tires are properly inflated!

LeeSteer seems to be aligned and clean free. My tires are inflated properly too.

Here is a video that can better explain the problem

We can't tell from the video:

Can we assume that the riding surface shown is level?

Can we assume that there is nothing hanging from the left handle? (i.e., the assembly is symmetrical)?

Yes, riding surface is lever and nothing is hanging from the left handle.

If you're not holding or otherwise touching the lean steer (aside from the obvious correction of the placement of the Segway at one point)...then the lean steer is clearly out of alignment. It is leaning toward the left and the Segway is steering accordingly.

When powered off, but holding it in normal gliding position (using the fenders or base to hold it in that position) -- is the leansteer frame absolutely vertical? You'll need to use an instrument (level or something) to determine that.

Check to see that the base where you stand is level. Then check the side of the vertical leansteer frame.
