Default Wrong infokey or broken battery?

I just bought untested AS IS 2007 i2 segway on craigslist and its comes with infokey.
Charge it 8-12 hours, I have 2 solid green lights, they never blinking. Tried to power on infokey, but only have antenna without airwaves and 12:00. How to check maybe this infokey from different segway or something wrong with radio or battery? Any Idea how to check?
Thanks

I realized something from reading your post: I don't know what a Segway normally does if you try to start it from the wrong InfoKey. I only have one i2, so I can't test it, and I couldn't figure it out online either.

I do have one suggestion, though: Try holding the InfoKey close to the base and see if it works better down there. It could be the radio board.

Once the batteries are fully charged the solid green lights should blink.

I have an I2 and an SE. From what I can recall, it you try and start it from the wrong infokey, nothing happens. If you try and shut it down once running with the wrong infokey, you get an error code (1340 ?) but the seg stays running. I can test this out over the weekend and write back for sure what happens

I have two X2s sitting side-by-side. Green lights blinking. Unplugged both.
The effect of the Infokeys on the X2s is totally independent. Nothing I did with one Infokey had any effect on the other X2, nor on what was shown on the other Infokey.

Shutting down one X2 had absolutely no effect on the other Infokey (i.e., no error displayed).

Of course, that doesn't answer the original question.

Also, I didn't try taking an Infokey far away from the associated X2 (out of communication range), to see what happens on the Infokey display in that case.

Just tested - this is the indication when the Infokey is not recognizing a response from the Segway. That could be that the Segway is not capable of transmitting at all, or that this is not the correct Infokey.

That still doesn't answer the question, of course.
