Fair enough. I've removed the question about "troll".

If you followed the link I posted, you can see that GlencoeActivities is, among other things a company that does Segway tours in Scotland. Their videos clearly show that they have X2s (not XTs).

In addition to suggestions, folks asked questions that were not answered.

I look forward to GlencoeActivities answering those questions.

I do think that we have justification for being annoyed, when someone comes along, asks a question that doesn't quite make sense...(XT which will not turn off. I have tried two keys )
...causes 7 people to take the time to answer ... and then never reappears.

But that's just my personal opinion.

good luck
after that you might pull the batteries to shut off or reset? im just an amateur that never saw that probleblem those footpads don't really have switches i believe they have a rubber piece that gets pushed down with weight/feet that interrupts a light beam that tells the machine someone is on it. =last longer than an electrical switch

if a rock or?causes the rubber to stick down=in the light beam keeps telling the machine it has a rider it wont shut off in that case easy to look and check come on experts weigh in here
