I see the weight limit on the Original is 100kgs/210lbs
I am 235 when wearing full loadout. I wonder how significantly that would affect the performance of the unit. -Tritium |

I don't know what the official tire spec is for Ninebot-brand tires, but the compatible tires I saw for sale on Aliexpress had a weight of 150 lbs. each...so subtract 28 pounds from that and the absolute upper limit of a Segway MiniPRO could be as high as 268 lbs (with zero remaining spec headroom). I'd recommend staying at or below the official 220 lbs. weight limit. The Segway i2s can handle 235 pounds, no problem. |

P.S. The irony that Chinese clone makers are knocking off Chinese-made Segways wholesale is not lost on me. I hope that Segway can put an end to that.
It seems like Segway is now finally taking off after a decade (volume-wise) and the whole Ninebot/Segway team really deserves to see some good profits from all their innovation hard work. |
