transporting using a reciever hitch adaptor

Has anyone posted info on how to fabricate a carrier by using a home made
unit? Also being new here I'm wondering if anyone can help with repairing an I2 it won't run and I have no idea how to check it out and find the codes and get it repaired other than taking it to a Segway dealer.

Hi tnseg. I have no experience with the carrier. I can offer you a method to check your batteries and charger.

Since you have an i2 the batteries will only have two contacts in the center of the wiring harness. If your batteries are good and charged you should be seeing a voltage of ~76-78VDC. If they are severely lower you may have battery issues.

Before investing into batteries you will likely either need to find someone willing to let you borrow a set of lithium batteries to try on your machine or you will have to go to your closest dealer which is likely Segway of Tennessee http://segwayofnashville.com/

Segways are commonly not DIY repairable.
