Default Hello from Ohio!

Hi everybody! Long time lurker, first time poster... First of all I'd like to thank all who post there experiences and knowledge here. Your info has been very valuable in helping me make my purchase decision. Today I picked up two i2's and am really looking forward to warmer weather to come to enjoy them to the fullest! It seems to be a good day to buys Segways since the entire company was purchased today by Summit Strategic. Hopefully new and better things to come. Any advice for proper break in procedures?

do what the book says.

Most important thing to do is not let them go dead. Regardless of your reason, it is not a good thing.

The batteries are pretty good, not like the old days of rechargeable batteries with memory, and need to stretch and recondition them.

Just run the machines and have a good time. Welcome to the crew...

Thanks Guys! I'm beginning to rack up a few miles now that the weather is warming and all I can say is wow, these things are fun. I cruised my neighborhood for the first time today and really enjoyed it. Most of my riding to date has been indoors, (fun, but the scenery is getting boring). I received quite a few stares and a one neighbor asked if I was in training to be a mall cop... (I knew that was coming) Most I think don't know what to make of it, but I'll let them get used to me tooling around and we'll see if the neighbors come around. Scootz, I'm enjoying it very much, but wish I had your scenery to glide through.
