Question i2 Rattle Sound

Has anyone noticed a rattle sound on their i2? It sounds like the fender maybe making the rattle sound.

The last time I heard a rattle in my car, "Cha Chang" it cost me a grand

Is this when you are just standing still? It could be the gearboxes "chattering" as they change direction rapidly while it's keeping you in place.

No, I hear it when I hit a bump, like two sections of sidewalk meeting with one section a bit higher than the other by a half inch or so.

I hear a faint fast clicking sound for the first couple blocks of riding (only while moving), then it just disappears.

Don't the gears have to kinda "seat" themselves. I thought there was some period of time where the gears were being broken in?

I had this for a while. I think it was actually the segway insert at the base of the LSF - it wasn't "locked" in and would creak when the machine was jarred pretty hard.

I didn't hear it originally; then after I reassembled from the upgrade, I noticed it.

Hope this helps!

i have a rattle between my fender and something to do with the cargo carrier frame. i wedged a piece of cardboard in thereafter trying to tighten every screw that i could see and it stoppedwith the wedgie"i have an x2 with the fatty square knobby tires. im wondering if more air might not keep it from starting the rattles.i used a piece of branch first but some people couldnt leave that alone and pulled it out trying to help this crippled up old guy
i didnt like to hear a rattle while riding around the cruise ship. because i didn't want to make segs seem noisy to others,
