x2 Strange problem with X2

X2 turns on but shuts down after a few seconds if I don't tap the foot pad.
Runs very slowly with no error codes or unhappy face. Switched out batteries with our I2 which works fine. Same thing.
It started when I put in spare batteries to charge them.

Sounds like the settings have been changed to turtle mode and the shutdown if not in balance mode has been changed to lowest time. I believe the highest is 15 minutes.

Shutdown Timeout:
Shutdown timeout is the period of time the PT will remain powered on in standby mode. Tapping the Security button will cycle through the
available shutdown timeouts: 4 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes. Pressing the Information Display button will save your
selected timout setting and return the InfoKey controller to normal operation. Your Speed Limit and Shutdown timeout settings will now be
activated the next time you power on your PT.
