I agree with this basic assessment about temperature. I had been forced for the past few years to ride and haul my seg in cold weather. (I now haul it inside the back of my SUV and its stays toasty) If the weather was in the 20's, that was when I would experience problems. I didnt have any issue in the low 30s or better. I was only gliding outside for maybe 5 mins, but had hauled in in the outside cold for better than an hr so it was totally adjusted to the colder temps.
