Gen 1 w nickel batteries that when first starting it will hardly move. After a bit it will slowly get better then turn smiley and run a lot better. Any idea what would cause this?

The batteries almost 2 years old from MTO with daily usage. Might be towards the end of life span and the combo of the colder weather. What is the ideal temp range for gliding?

try it without a fresh charge it might be making sure you cant put too much power back into it by limiting the energy= speed you can build upit might generate more heat than it knows it could dissipate if you did a hard stop

Try this: After a glide, just turn it off but do not plug it in. Wait a while (or until the next day) and then start it up and let us know if it still has the same problem. |
