I saw this a little while ago but didn't quite get it. The key to understanding the video is turning on the sound. All of a sudden, it makes perfect sense!
Thanks for sharing it. I wonder whether the moderators will leave it on?

dont see why not, there's nothing objectionable in it. If a video like this can't be posted at a segway messageboard, where can it be?

Well, a fellow forum member posted step-by-step instructions on how he re-created it. For safety reasons (I suppose) it was removed.

Well I certainly would not recommend anyone try it themselves if they are curious. The results are plain to see. Anyone who owns a segway knows how powerful it is and watching this video, it is easy to imagine what would happen to your leg if you were behind it when it tried to right itself.
...and anyone who doesn't own a seg: No chance they will get hurt |

As I understand it, a link to this video was posted before, and the whole thread was deleted.
Personally, I would like to see this same thing done on an upgraded (14.2) machine, to prove that it doesn't do that anymore. |

That's a great idea. Heck if I knew someone with a camera I'd do it myself.
