It's getting quite cold here in Arizona and will likely reach 20 degrees Fahrenheit or less by Christmas.
A couple hours ago I glode approximately 18 miles round trip, to conquer the cold, I slapped on some snow boots, non insulated jacket, and motorcycle helmet.

It helped a bit but I still need insulated gloves, insulated jacket, and insulated trousers.
My i2 grips and LSF got tongue lickin' cold but no signs of less range or handling issues.

Based on what you and others have written, I don't think I have much to worry about. I think I am tending toward "glid" although "glode" works too.

As long as we all glide outside and aren't glib when we've glid or glode around the globe, we should be all good!

The LiIons generally out last me in bitter cold, so I do not insulate them as much.

A radio board cozy is an interesting idea. I use chemical insoles that warm up for 6 to 8 hours in my boots. Perhaps one of these devices under the cozy would warm up those boards, but I believe that point is relatively moot now. The cold weather problems were due to a run of boards that would act poorly at cool temperatures, and did not need extreme cold, and have mostly been corrected, I should think.

By the way, I glide on my segway. I do ride it, but prefer to say that I glide on it. Because of that, a glide that I take on Monday may be referred to by me on Tuesday... If that happens, I might say that glode on Monday, as the past tense of glide.

If some want to consider me uneducated, so be it. Some of the smartest people I know, well educated and functionally brilliant, speak with a southern drawl. Up here in the north east, most people consider that southern drawl to be an indicator of ignorance or poor education. I do not.

Make up a word that is witty and makes sense in its context, and I will appreciate it. Make up a word that does not, and take your consequences.

Try to pigeon hole me or evaluate my intelligence or education simply because I glode on my segway yesterday, and you do so at your own risk. My intelligence or education will not be affected by your inability to evaluate them appropriately.

As with all things, how I choose to express myself in one environment may not be how I choose to express myself in a different environment. Even if I am describing the same event.

Glide more, smile more.
Here's one that makes sense in context: "Loquacious Seguestrian."

I hope you appreciate it.

Brevity (my nemesis) and I agree, I'm guilty...

Spoke too soon, I now have problems. Thanksgiving day was mid to low 30s, sunny, but no precipitation. I was at my sister's house and since it was nice and I have had no problems to date with it starting, I left my Segway on the Segvator instead of bringing it in the house. It wont successfully start now.

It starts, gets to the one green LED showing I am in balance mode and then the wrench icon comes on the info key and the red leds all flash. Error code of
"E01F" Can anyone help me out with this one ? I desparately need my Segway, I am handicapped and need it to get anywhere. Thanks very much for your help in advance gang.

Thanks for the information. I went to my nearest dealer (CapitalSegway in DC, shout out for them, the could not have been more accomodating and helpful) and we swapped out the battery packs, they are fine and not the source of the problem. I'll post when I know what the problem was.
