Default Infokey Spring Plates

I have a stuck button on my infokey and have opened up the infokey to find that I need a new spring plate. I tried to bend it back and it still doesn't work correctly.

Does anyone have suggestions on

1) Where can I buy a new spring plate?
2) Is there an alternative to a spring plate you have successfully used?
3) If I have to buy a broken infokey and strip it for the part, where can I buy a broken infokey for cheap? (I called and Glide4less and they don't carry them anymore)

I had this problem and was able to fix it with a very small torx, some solvent and some time.

Use the solvent to dissolve the lacquer that is covering the small torx screws holding the infokey together. Make sure the screws are very clean before proceeding.

Remove the Screws

Reflex the spring

Put the screws back in

Apply lacquer if you want

jgbackes, thank you for the reply however I was not able to reflex the spring correctly which is what prompted the questions. Can you help me with these questions please?

Do you know where I can buy a spring plate?
Do you know of alternatives to the spring plate?

2 No
3 I used e-bay to sell my surplus infokeys, currently the lowest price I see there is $120

Mine is 7 years old and the buttons are very tired. Have not tried it yet but maybe a small section of spring from a ball point pen would work under the contact arm. On mine the plastic surrounding the power button is beat up to where it is not allowing the button to move freely.
