Hi folks, I'm a disabled vet so I use my seg for extended mobility. My seg was a gift from Segs4Vets and I love it. I joined this sight just to ghost the forum and get educated on my segway.

Welcome! I'm a fellow disabled vet (paraplegic), and I LOVE my Segway(s). I don't qualify for the S4V program, so I had to scrounge around to find a good deal. I lucked out and snagged a machine with a SegSaddle on it. If yours doesn't have a seat, you should definitely consider it. I love having the option to sit down (and always do whenever I go into a store/building.) It's too bad the VA or insurance companies won't buy these things. I think they would be a HUGE benefit to pretty much anyone with mobility issues. The ability to stand upright is very good for overall health and wellness.

Welcome to the forum!
Good to have some new people in here. It seems most of the originals have gone away or are just sleeping a lot now. |

I joined the forum 13 years ago (can't believe it's been that long) but only recently got a Segway. I wish I would've gotten one years ago. Although Segways are still a niche, I'm glad that people are still excited to discover how great they are.

Me too! I wish I had noticed them in their heyday.
I just joined the forum in August because I picked up a miniPro and fell in love! I have since purchased a Ninebot PTR Elite+ and a new i2SE. I am doing my best to build new interest in Segway's by riding them everywhere! |

Thanks for the welcome folks. I understand the value of a forum like this. I already posted a problem with my seg and received the fix. Great feedback.
Thank all of you folks for your service. I will try to stay current on the forum. |
