Software upgrade and NiMh batteries (i167)
Hi. My old i167 (gen 1) does not work - "unlocated fault". Our local dealer can't fix it up. I looked at the wires and didn't see any chaffing.
Now I wanna try to upgrade the software. But the dealer told me I won't able to use my old NiMh batteries after that. Could you tell me, is it true or not??? . Last edited by hippp; 02-18-2015 at 07:50 AM.. |

It is not true. No version of the Gen 1. disabled support for a certain type of battery. Software upgrades in Gen 1 actually enabled support of the Lithium Ions. For all versions of the software upgrades and what each one did, see the bottom of this thread:
