What firmware version is recommended??
I'm a new owner and new to this forum...
At a glance, seems like some miniPro owners have had issues with certain versions of the firmware. Only had my miniPro for 3 days now, I just got a message about a new firmware version is available. I'm waiting to get more info here to see if I should update it or stay on my current version (Not sure what that is right now). So, is there currently a preferred firmware version (minimum issues)? I know I read somewhere here that some users lost features or had issues after they upgraded (this may have been some old post and things are fixed) but I think I'll wait for confirmation before I update. thanks Ken |

Upgrade. The current firmware works fine. I have over 130 miles on mine with the current firmware.

I have also upgraded to the latest software and it seems to work fine.
I have noticed that customizing the colors of the rear lights in the app doesn't do what I expect, but maybe its me. Dale - AZ |

I have a black minipro on 1.1.7 and a white on 1.3.1. The difference is hard to tell, if any. I told all my friends to update from 1.2.8 to the latest. 1.2.7 and 1.2.8 are bad firmwares though. It beeps like mad... |

After some research (didn't really find much info), I upgraded to 1.3.1. After a quick ride I didn't detect any difference in ride/handling qualities.
I do wish I could get a good speed of 12-14 mph though. I wonder f the will ever unlock that ability |

Yes, I really need to be able to do 12-14mph as well. 15mph is the limit it can be to be within the law, so as long as you don't go over that, you're fine. I'm pretty disgusted that they have made it 10 without being able to change it... ..but since it's our devices, then we can change it ourselves. I'm just having difficulty getting the firmware to make the change. |
