The base price is around $1000, more or less, depending on dealer markup. Options like the inverter, high-lift, and dual-Segway capability add a bit more.

You'll need to contact a dealer for more specific information -- I bought mine through Segway of Oakland, 6 years ago.

If you do want the capability to transport two Segways, it's a very simple and quick switch between dual and single modes. I only have one Segway, so I did not get that option, but the same mechanism allows disassembly for storage, and I can confirm it's very easy and quick.

Obviously, we can't have infinite voltage, or the universe would tear itself to shreds, and we wouldn't be discussing Segways.
