A) Suggest you redo the Lean Steer assembly and calibration process in the
SE user manual pages 19 and 20.
B) Suggest you contact Factory Support before removing screws on the
SE lean steer base. Or if the problem is not fixed by step [A].
Note:
On an
i2 model the SNAP heard when the lean steer is forced all the way to a fender is the lean steer attachment clamp breaking free of the round shaft base. It is part of the lean steer removal process and is documented in the original
i2 model user guide.
There is nothing in the
SE model user guide that references a SNAP when doing the lean steer attachment and calibration process on pages 19 and 20 of the user model.
A SNAP on an
SE could mean something has slipped or broken.
