I replaced mine and I had a heck of a time doing it. One of the screws was just plain stuck, and the harder I tried to get it out, the more it just became stripped. Finally, I just took a power drill and obliterated the screw.

Luckily, the screws used for the handle cap seem to be a common and easily replaceable type, which I don’t think is true for practically any screws on an i2.
