1. The flange could be bent on the gearbox. This is the area that has the 3 mounting points that the wheel mounts to.
2. Elastomer could be completely worn. As the motors increase speed, the elastomers expand. If they have reached the point of tearing apart, then the elastomer has very little grab or bite on the coupling and this is more noticeable at lower speeds
3. If #2 continues too long, then the coupling will eventually become loose from the gearbox which will require a new coupling to be pressed on. Most dealers will have the jig required to remount a new coupling.

my new x2 developed a rattle when slowish i have the cargo plates and frames
it took me forever to figure this out, i had a dealer tighten the plates but i found it was the fender rattling against the cargo framesi think my knobby fatty tires starts it i ended up slipping cardboard between the fender and frames front and back i hope yours is just as easyof a fixi think my fenders need a patch of rubber glued in there
