The Segfest in Florida was in Bonita Springs at what is now the Hyatt Regency. For those who aren't familiar with the west coast of Florida, Bonita Springs is between Ft Myers and Naples on the southwest Gulf Coast of Florida. Dean was there. I remember someone road a rental Segway into the hotel pool. There was someone at the Segfest from California who had 2 modified custom Segways with 22" mag wheels and custom paint jobs that my twin brother and I got to tryout there at the hotel. I have a picture somewhere but I don't know where it is now. Wish I did. We used the P133 because of their smaller size and scale. That's what Dean was using back then. I still use a P133. I have 4 of them. Since they stop producing the P's in June 2006 when I find a lightly used P model today, I try to buy it. When the Ninebot Elite came out a couple of years ago now I bought one and had the operating bar/lean-steer shortened since it doesn't telescope up and down like the Segways. It's almost the same size; footprint, tire size and ground clearance as the P133's. The only problem with the Ninebot is they have Lithium batteries which as we know gives me more range but you can't fly with Lithium batteries. I also bought a Segway Mini-Pro and a handlebar kit recently. It's fun. I'm getting used to it. Believe it our not, even though I'm only 3 feet tall the Mini-Pro feels small to me. As you can see, I'm a big Segway fan!
