One thing that can occur if you have lots of repeated partial charges, is that the calibration of the battery meter on the infokey is off. It tries to compensate, and often this will make it seem to drop power or power bars quickly.

I would check the items previously listed, but if I am right, the simple solution is to let it discharge completely, then charge it completely. Use it, but do not charge it. Let it finish off its power while on, but up against the wall. Once it turns itself off for lack of power, then wait 30 minutes, and plug it in.

Charge it till full, a good 8 hours or more.

Then use it as usual. You may want to go thru this cycle twice.

If there are no mechanical problems, this may be your factor..
