Hello from Friendswood TX
This may be a duplicate. I am a total noob.I tried to by a used X2 in Houston and nearly got swindled into buying a worthless machine . Next time I plan to be a little more knowledgeable, hence I joined this group. I plan to start reading old posts on what to look for on a used Segway.

Yep, there is a WEALTH of info here! The one thing I did not find was how many watts are used while charging. The best estimate by the gurus on here was 120 watts. John at Segway Technical says 140 watts. 120, 140 is ballpark so close enough to say these guys know their stuff!

and no pleas ignore who the seller is....There are many places that sell the same thing! With my background I will assume the first surge is the higher then it turns into a trickle after it levels off... |
Thanks, airdale! I have heard the term kill-a-watt but never investigated. That looks like a useful instrument and ya can't go too wrong for 20 bucks!
