How can I tell when a Segway was manufactured by the serial number?

If you have an I-phone, i-pad or i-pod touch, Theres an App for that in the I-tunes store called PT-info

To the best of my knowledge- No they only run on the IOS system.:confused:

Funny enough, the information that's dead on Segway Social came from our community originally, so here it is again:

Structure of Serial Numbers: YY2WW1NNNNNN

YY: Year of manufacture (07 = 2007)

P: Manufacturing Plant (1 Manchester NH, 2 Bedford NH) All shipping units are most likely 2

WW: Week of manufacture (01...52)

1: Always "1" so far

NNNNNN: Real serial number, started with 000001 in March 2002 and incremented by one with each Segway produced.
