Cap for Extendable Steering Bar
 

So the kids tried to lift the Minipro by the extendable steering bar and popped the cap on top right off. I see that More4Mini sells the replacement part but I can't seem to get the base of the cap out of the steering bar. Has anyone replaced theirs? Do you simple pull it out after removing the two screws? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I replaced mine and I had a heck of a time doing it. One of the screws was just plain stuck, and the harder I tried to get it out, the more it just became stripped. Finally, I just took a power drill and obliterated the screw.

Luckily, the screws used for the handle cap seem to be a common and easily replaceable type, which I don’t think is true for practically any screws on an i2.
