New member here, should I buy now or wait until the new version comes out?

Not sure if there is anything new on the horizon... take a tour and see if you would prefer a i2 or X2....

All we have heard was a 3 wheeled model?

I agree, I have not heard of a new version, but did hear of rumors of a different product with 3 wheels. It is a different type of device for a different market.

(I don't think the 3 wheel devices are designed for inside/outside access, have larger footprints, and different applications than 2 wheel, self balancing segways)

Are you aware of a new model on the horizon? If so, share your info.

Other than that, I would take a tour, and choose your segway, as previously suggested. They are a unique and fun experience to own and ride.

Only thing I heard is possibly coming out in more colors then Black and White
BTW the T3 is newer then i2/x2 and then theres the SoloWheel which I purchased and am waiting for some warm weather to try it out more then in my living room. (When she's not home) hehe:D

Some insider information I acquired shows at least one new matte anodising finish for the i2.

If that's what you're looking for, then waiting is probably a good idea, otherwise, any time is a good time to buy.
