I2 Serial Number
 

Is the serial number located somewhere else besides on the sticker under the aft of the right foot pad? The footpad has worn the number off that sticker on one of my 2007's and I'd like to verify that the number is the same as on the bill of sale I got with the Segs

Yes. There is a serial number located under one of the batteries on the base unit. I just don't remember which battery it's under.

For anyone else looking for this, it's stamped in the chassis under the front battery

Battery Removal and torque specs
 

Battery removal requires a 3mm hex wrench, 4 screws per battery. re torque to 14inch lbs of torque as per Segway.
