Hello All.
We are looking to begin a Segway rental business in Virginia. Does anyone know of a dealer that would be willing to work with us on the pricing of a purchase of multiple Segways, say 5 to 10?
Any help would be appreciated.
Mike

I have 10 new 'I' models. I could not find a dealer to discount because their margins are low.

I had great luck working with Larry at Segway of TX. Give him a call at: 713-986-2527. He will treat you very well.

There is an individual selling some (6) used HTs in the "Buy and Sell" forum a month or so ago, I don't believe he has sold them as of yet. He also had some extra batteries and off board chargers.
Here is the link (you may have to be logged on to go there)

Would there be discounts if you did it through LLC directly?

it has a nice ring to it

In 1946, the first TV toy commercial aired. It was for Mr. Potato head.

Canada is an Indian word meaning "Big Village".

All 50 states are listed across the top of the Lincoln Memorial on the back of the $5 bill.

The average American/Canadian will eat about 11.9 pounds of cereal per year.

Try JM Segways.....they are my local dealer here in south Florida and have taken good care of me with my purchase of several Segways over the last year......they have a website of the same name that includes their phone numbers...I highly recommend them.

Have you tried Segway LLC? When I approached them a month ago, they indicated that there was some fiddle room involving the training expense on multiple machine purchases, bringing the cost down to ~$4000 each.

I have a contact at segway where I think you might be able to get a good deal - you can reach me via email - rchawla@in4velocity.com and I'll give it you.

If you want some used segways (sparingly used < 3-4 miles) I have a few P's and I's for sale.

thanks - rcl.

I'm surprised the dealers you contacted were not excited about moving multiple units. I heard (perhaps incorrectly) that there was about $500 of margin in each unit for the dealerships. That should motivate them to return your call, and provide the wiggle room, don't you think?
